എന്തായാലും ആഘോഷങ്ങള്‍ നല്ലതു തന്നെ :)

രാവണനെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു സീതയെ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത ശ്രീരാമനോട് ലക്ഷ്മണന്‍ ചോദിച്ചു “ജ്യേഷ്ഠ, ഇനി അയോധ്യയിലേക്കു തിരിച്ചു പോകണോ? ഭരതന്‍ അവിടെ രാജാവായിരുന്നോട്ടെ; സമ്പത്സമൃദ്ധമായ ലങ്കവിട്ടു നാം പോകണോ?”
ഇതിന്നു ശ്രീരാമനെക്കൊണ്ടു ആദികവി പറയിപ്പിച്ച ഉത്തരം മുഴുവന്‍ ഭാരതീയരേയും കോരിത്തരിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇന്നും അങ്ങനെത്തന്നെ.
“അപി സ്വര്‍ണ്ണമയീ ലങ്കാ
ന മേ ലക്ഷ്മണ രോചതേ
ജനനീ ജന്മഭൂമിശ്ച
സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗാദപി ഗരീയസീ”
പരിഭാഷ:
“ലങ്കപൊന്നാകിലും തെല്ലും
താല്പര്യമതിലില്ല മേ;
പെറ്റമ്മയും പെറ്റനാടും
സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തേക്കാള്‍ മഹത്തരം”
അങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു അയോദ്ധ്യയിലേക്കു തിരിച്ചുപോയ ശ്രീരാമനെ വരവേല്ക്കാന്‍ വഴിനീളെ വിളക്കുകൊളുത്തിയത്രേ അയോദ്ധ്യക്കാര്‍.
ജന്മഭൂമിയുടെ മഹത്വമാകട്ടേ ദീപാവലിയുടെ സന്ദേശം.
ജയകൃഷ്ണനും കമന്റിട്ടവര്‍ക്കും കാവാലത്തുകാറ്ക്കും,കേരളകാര്‍ക്കും മുഴുവന്‍ ഭാരതീയര്‍ക്കും ദീപാവലി ആശംസകള്‍!
